Website Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 22, 2026

This policy explains how ABC Occupational Medical Center collects, uses and shares information through abcoccupational.com (the "website"). It is provided under the California Online Privacy Protection Act and other applicable law. Health information we receive while providing care is protected under HIPAA and the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act and is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices, not this policy.

Information We Collect

  • Information you give us. When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tools may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website and the date and time of your visit.
  • Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the website to work and to understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as intended.

Please do not send medical information through the website or by email. Our contact form is intended for general and business inquiries only.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to your questions and requests, including requests for a consultation.
  • To operate, maintain, secure and improve the website.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

How We Share Information

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not share it with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We may share information with:

  • Service providers that host, maintain or support the website and our email, under agreements that limit their use of the information.
  • Government authorities or other parties when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our patients, staff or others.
  • A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, the website does not currently respond to them. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, although we do not sell or share personal information.

Third parties, such as analytics providers, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our website.

Your Choices and California Rights

You may ask us to review, correct or delete personal information you submitted through the website by contacting us as described below. Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, California residents may also have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and you may use an authorized agent.

Under California Civil Code section 1798.83, California residents may ask whether we have shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not do so.

Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We keep website inquiries only as long as needed to respond and for legitimate business or legal purposes.

Children

The website is intended for employers and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

Links to Other Websites

The website may link to other sites, such as Google Maps or government agencies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date above.
